The only problem was, the stallion wasn't fooled. With a ringing neigh, he charged down into the herd and bared his teeth at the first mare he reached, almost jerking her off the ground as he roughly grabbed her by the back of the neck to get her attention.
"Stop, you fools!" He let her go and kicked at another that was passing nearby. "You are running for no reason!! Just Shivae chicks! No threat! Now stop!" He grunted and with ears laid back saw that he'd gotten most of the mare's attention.
"Guess it wasn't that good of an idea." Vas and Riva dropped the branches once they saw that the horses were not going where they wanted them to. Most of them had stopped running and were simply prancing around the field, snorting and noting the smell of Shivae on the air.
