Keeping him from overextending was the problem here. Moe gave him gentler taps than he did Zargon, but made sure the kit saw where the problems were. He was also having trouble improvising. The kit had the basics down, but he got overeager and left himself vulnerable, and when the wolf switched to a different attack, it took too long for hte fox to respond. Still, he had potential, and he was about average for a young one with just a few hours of instruction.
A few more runs back and forth, and Moe called a halt. "Alright. Let's see what you can do with these." He took the rods and handed the two the beam hilts. "Don't do anything with them yet, there's a bit more to go over with them."
