I'm thinking to do a seperate thread on the teaching of the tents.  Each group will have to set up thier own tent, though Frost and Moe will make sure that it's being done right.  But the short class might be fun to do as its own thread.

It just occured to me... October 1st was the next week advance date.  Did we want to advance it (making weeks 7 & 8 open), or let it slide this time since we have several absent players?

Not that my opinion is seriously important at the moment, but I would like to beg an extension.. I really would like to get back into the threads, it's just not possible at this point for me.

Usually when it slides it's until the next date advance, which would be Jan 1.

Sounds like unless someone really wants the date to advance, the preference is to keep weeks 6 & 7 open at this time.

Do we have any active week six threads?  Only one I can think of is the field trip, which is kind of on the border.  If that's the only one, it might work to advance it.

I'm not gonna beg, but I would like to let the time line slip.

The field trip thread is a weekend adventure. I was thinking along the lines of a 'Leave on Friday morning and return Sunday eve." Its still on the first day of play, if you look at it from my point of view it looks like there at two more days out.

I suggest playing like we are, I was wanting to start a thread on the morning of the first day (or second, however y'all want it) When its over switch the week numbers, that way any other field trip threads would seem Sunday-ish. We've had the 'getting there' threads, this would give a chance for the 'going home tired and dirty' stories.

I'm thinking the tab A slot B thread can die as soon as we head for supper, unless someone wants otherwise.  I'll be sending Moe that way probably in my next post.  But at this point, people should go ahead and start any Saturday threads they want.  Sound good?

You mentioned a Saturday thread.  That should be fine now.  I do favor going ahead though, since it won't affect many of the currently active threads.  It'll just let us finish the field trip for hte most part.

How many threads are in week six?

I suppose the saturday thread will have the same week # as the tab A slot B thread. I ain't heard any "Oof's" or "don'ts" so maybe, just maybe, I can get it posted tonight. Just gotta figgure out a thread name.

Yeah... I think we'll just let this date change slide.  There seems to be more interest in keeping the current weeks open than in opening a new one, and considering several players are less active lately due to real life, even if we did open a new week, that one might not get much activity before the next date change came up.
