Genoworks and the range of their uplifts
« on: July 13, 2014, 04:14:10 pm »
I've been noticing a bit of a pattern with where Genoworks gets the samples for their uplifts. The thing is, all of the uplifts we've seen are from species that have ranges either in North America, Africa, or Australia. Let's count:

North America:
Skunk
Raccoon
Ring-tailed Cat
Not exclusive to North America:
Otter/Ermine
Bat
Porcupine

Africa:
Zebra
Hyena
Giraffe
Wild Dogs

Australia:
Kangaroo
Tree Kangaroo

Oh, and let's not forget the jackalope, a creature of North American folklore invented by a taxidermist in the 1930s also managed to make it to the production stage in Genoworks.

Can anyone provide a counter-example to this or explain Genoworks apparent preferences?
