This is tomorrow.  Hmmm, decisions decisions... decisions...

Do you even need to ask? The *REDACTED* is not as exclusive as most people would think! Hell, I've got a job opportunity with the *REDACTED*!

Heeheehee!  Y'know, I told one of my friends about you, Ren, about a month ago.  Mentioned you were soon to have multiple linguistic degrees, and he said that you should try to get into the CIA as a linguist or translator.  It's really humorous that you got that request!  ^_^

Yeah, unless you're just driven and pumped about academia, you go to the government if you want to make linguistics a career.  Otherwise you get a PhD and become a researcher.

FINALLY!  Bloody gods-forsaken FINALLY!  Renessa, hon, I've been mentioning this for something like 10 years and change, using the entire environment as a generator system, ranging from piezoelectrics to thermocouple systems and the like, all stuff that isn't dependent upon whether the sky is cloudy, whether it's nighttime, etc.  Glad to see someone's gotten the beginnings of this stuff to market.  What surprises me is he hasn't considered using it with vehicle traffic...

I would think, and of course this is coming from someone who needs to brush up on the finer details of such things, that cars either create too much wear and tear on the system (always depressing the medium even when at rest) or do not impart enough kinetic energy to be efficient for the installation cost (cars are only high impact when they crash, which is the wrong vector anyway).

"Recently, the Consortium of Strategic Communication received a two-year, renewable grant of $2.5 million grant from the Office of Naval Research for their project, "Identifying Terrorist Narratives and Counter-Narratives: Embedding Story Analysts in Expeditionary Units."

Wait... Wait... this is a thing?  Looking for and identifying propagandist metanarratives as well as the most effective way to counter act it to aid the military?  I...  this appeals so oddly to the anthropologist, archetypal devotee, story teller, and adventurer in me all at the same time...  Still don't want to work for the government though.

I'm confused. Today was spent Babysitting my nephews and my cousins daughter. First I wanted to pull my hair out, and then I managed to get them in front of the TV and finding them something to watch was another story, and then......

This: Martha Speaks , held my attention as much as it did theirs.

My Mom came shambling through and said all 4 of us were Zombies.  :P

Definitely a cool home.  One question, though.  What happens when it rains?

Seeing as that's in England, I would hope they were smart enough to put a layer of tar paper/old freecycled tarps/something water proof between the grass and the planking.

If not, I would not make the same mistake when building mine. :P  Also, I would make sure mine looked a little more cold proof as well (but then again, that small of a space that big stove heater in the center can probably get all of it no matter how inefficient it would be by modern standards).
